BMW Bringing Back the 8 Series

Sources at BMW's R & D department have revealed that the automobile manufacturer has plans to revive its long lost 8 series with a new flagship technological model. Built out of a small factory in Dingolfing, Germany this model will come as a major step up from the current 7 Series and is manufactured to rival a Mercedes-Benz S Class Coupe or Bentley Continental GT. We have yet to see whether the new flagship model will two-door coupĂ© or a four door sedan. Most details of the new model are pretty tight lipped but, we will most likely hear more details as the year progresses. The model in question is expected out by early 2018 along with its first concept preview. In 2013 BMW revealed the Gran Lusso Coupe concept car as a clear example of the German automaker’s ability to create luxury sedans above the current standard of the luxury 7 Series. Stay connected as more info drops on the upcoming 8 series.
