ZAGG acquires Mophie for $100M

ZAGG best known for their electronic accessories think keypads and screen protectors, has recently acquired Mophie best known for their smartphone battery packs. Zagg bought Mophie for a reported $100Million. Thats a whole lotta M's for a company that specializes in smartphone battery packs but, think about it every year some phone manufacturer *cough* Apple *cough* promises longer battery life in a new model device. Devices that always promise to add on hours of life but, in the real world hardly ever deliver. Zagg then steps in on cue as a trusted name in device add-ons and protection to buy the leader of add-on battery packs, I can only think of what they plan on doing with this acquisition and the new line of products that will be released subsequently. We patiently await with our dying iphones in hand.
