Albums to Look Forward in 2016........Frank Ocean?

Here's a quick look at some of the albums purported to be dropping this year. Release dates are always sketchy so they were omitted.

A$AP FERG - ALWAYS STRIVE AND PROSPER
Chance the Rapper - TBA
Last year Chance the Rapper kept on rapping and dropped dual projects, one was a mixtape featuring Lil B the Based God. The other titled Surf  was a team project with Donnie the Trumpet & Social Experiment was free for the people. Recent references on SNL hinted at Chance dropping more heat in a 3rd mixtape later this year. 

Drake - Views from the 6ix

Frank Ocean - TBA
Where your ass was at? Largely thought to have disappeared, recent news of a possible collab with Rich the Kid put fans on watch. 2016 could be the year Frank comes back to us after being lost at sea.

Future - TBA
The workman of 2015 Future dropped bomb after bomb on the game in rapid succession. Then doubled down released more fire early this year with Purple Reign. He's showing no sign of slowing down in 2016, Hurricane Hendrix is forecasted for a v. heavy storm.

J. Cole - TBA
Dreamville is coming into the new year as one of the top crews in rap. A possible spring/summer tour with Drake or just rumor? Cole has plenty of flex right now and still heating up to drop more fire this year.

Kanye West – WAVES

Post Malone - TBA
2015 was Post Malone's year as he burst on the scene with two strong singles, will this debut album continue the wave? Just wait on it.

Pusha T - King Push

Rae Sremmurd - TBA

The brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmy's debut album SremmLife held a powerful set of performance singles. Bet on the catchy duo to employ a similar formula for their upcoming sophomore release.

Young Thug: "90% of My Closet is Womens Clothing"

We all know Young Thugger has been no stranger to womens clothing. Why? a question most of us have asked.

Thugger responds with

“Because women’s clothes are [slimmer] than men’s clothes,” he said in a recent interview with GQ Magazine. “The jeans I got on right now, they’re women’s jeans. But they fit how they’re supposed to fit. Like a rock star,” he continued.

Thugger has been rocking his signature gender-bending look for quite some time. He elaborates, “The only thing I probably have in men’s is like, briefs. T-shirts. 90% percent of my clothes are women’s.”

 

Let's not forget other rappers such as Lil Wayne and even Kanye have been called out for wearing women's clothing in the past.

Do you Thugger. No one can dispute Thugger is definitely changing the rap game with this gender bending wardrobe choices for better or worse. His music is still fire which at the end of the day is what matters most. How long with this last? Only time can tell.
